What is OPG?

OPG refers to Orthopantomogram which is also known as Panorex. It is a panoramic scanning dental X-ray of the upper and lower jaw. It shows a two-dimensional view of the half circle from ear to ear. This technology enables acquiring the sharp X-Ray images at the lower radiation dose. Mainly, OPGs are used by the dentists to provide information regarding the:
